Seven people are on trial in Paris on March 5th for cyberharassing Thomas Jolly, the director of the Paris 2024 Olympic ceremonies. Jolly received insults and death threats online after the opening ceremony and filed a complaint citing homophobic and antisemitic abuse. Seven arrests were made in October following an investigation. Other artists involved in the ceremonies were also targeted.
